Brenna Marie Spinner

Brenna Spinner is an accomplished litigation and appellate attorney with experience representing clients in a wide range of matters in state and federal courts. At Swope, Rodante P.A., Ms. Spinner leverages her broad legal knowledge and passion for serving the injured and underrepresented to advocate for her clients.

Ms. Spinner attended the George Washington University Law School, where she honed her advocacy skills by serving on the George Washington Law Review journal, engaging in moot court competitions, participating in a student legal clinic representing indigent clients facing eviction in the District of Columbia, chairing a committee of the GW Moot Court Board, and acting as a Dean’s Fellow teaching legal research, writing, and advocacy to first-year law students.

After graduating with honors in 2016, Ms. Spinner began her legal career as a litigation attorney with a top law firm in the District of Columbia where she gained valuable experience representing clients at all phases of litigation. Ms. Spinner managed complex discovery, prepared witnesses for hearings, obtained successful judgments on novel legal issues, and drafted a wide range of legal documents. In her spare time, Ms. Spinner volunteered at the District’s landlord-tenant resource center where she assisted pro se litigants with housing matters.

In 2019, Ms. Spinner made a career change to a small firm that advocates for clients who have been denied Social Security Disability benefits. She applied the skills gained as a litigation attorney and her passion for representing low-income and disabled individuals, obtaining successful results for hundreds of clients. Ms. Spinner brings that same passion for justice to Swope Rodante, P.A.

Ms. Spinner is originally from Pennsylvania but has lived throughout the southeast. In 2021, Ms. Spinner and her husband settled in the Tampa area to be closer to family. When not hard at work, Ms. Spinner enjoys engaging in physical fitness and outdoor activities, baking elaborate cakes, and volunteering at animal shelters.
