Biography

In a remarkable career of over 30 years, there is little that Mr. Romney hasn't accomplished. He is one of the most respected and widely quoted attorneys in California. A graduate of Brigham Young University, he rose to the rank of Assistant District Attorney (#3) in the Orange County District Attorney's Office before leaving to accept a full time position as a law school professor. His state and federal court experience includes extensive trial and appellate work on a variety of matters including death penalty cases. He has appeared on local and national TV and radio and has written numerous papers and training materials on a wide range of legal topics. Mr. Romney is a well known speaker before prosecutors, at police agencies and attorney meetings, as well as at community forums. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Bar Association and was President of the Association of Orange County Deputy District Attorneys.
