Brent R. Boos

Open for Business
Brent R. Boos: Attorney with King & Siegel LLP

Biography

After graduating from Harvard Law School, Brent co-founded and managed a nonprofit law firm, the Los Angeles Center for Community, Law, & Action, where he protected and advanced the rights of low-income tenants via litigation related to eviction defense, slum conditions, and rent control, as well as through political organization. During this time, Brent helped secure a 1.1-million-dollar verdict on behalf of tenants harmed by discriminatory rental policies.

In 2017, Brent transitioned his practice to counsel and litigate on behalf of small- to medium-sized businesses in a wide range of commercial disputes and employment matters. Notably, Brent’s practice emphasized advising businesses about how to design and implement workplace policies that fully complied with employment laws.

After several years of counseling businesses to respect their employees’ rights, Brent found his calling as a plaintiff’s attorney. Since 2020, he has worked closely with King & Siegel LLP to advocate on behalf of employees whose employers infringed upon their rights, including individual and class actions for wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.

In his free time, Brent enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and running ultramarathons.
