Biography

Brett Asher is a principal in the firm’s Mt. Clemens office. He concentrates his practice on automobile insurance defense, including personal injury protection and bodily injury liability defense, general litigation and insurance coverage.

Prior to joining Kitch, Mr. Asher maintained a diverse civil litigation practice, including insurance defense, class action defense, and representation of employers in federal court and EEOC matters.

Mr. Asher received his J. D. from Wayne State University Law School, where he graduated with Order of the Coif and Dean’s Scholar honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Adrian College, where he played NCAA Division 3 basketball for the Bulldogs.

Mr. Asher was named a Rising Star in 2016 and 2017 by Super Lawyers. Rising Stars are attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or those who have practiced for ten years or less. Only 2.5 percent of Michigan lawyers are named to this list every year.
