Biography

Brett was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated with a degree in Political Science with honors from the University of Memphis in 2006. After college, he and his wife moved to Jackson where he attended law school at the Mississippi College School of Law. Brett graduated from MC Law with honors in 2009. He took the bar exam in both Mississippi and Tennessee over a brutal four day period in July of 2009 and passed both. Brett is admitted to practice law in both Tennessee and Mississippi.

Brett is the Chair of the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Section of the MS Bar and a member of the Mississippi Association for Justice.

Brett and his wife, Jessica, have three adorable girls who were all born in the Jackson area. Roots were planted and the family decided to make central Mississippi home. Brett joined the firm in 2010 and his practice primarily includes Mississippi workers’ compensation claims, social security disability claims and Tennessee personal injury claims, including car wrecks, slip and falls, and premises liability.

Brett is an avid hunter, enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and children. He and his family are active members of Pinelake Church.
