Brett Landriault

Brett Landriault is a Houston criminal defense attorney and Senior Trial Attorney at Michael & Associates Criminal Defense Attorneys. He represents clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges throughout Harris County and Southeast Texas, with a particular focus on DWI defense. His practice includes cases involving breath and blood testing, field sobriety testing, drug offenses, assault, theft, weapons offenses, probation violations, and other criminal allegations.

Brett combines courtroom advocacy with advanced scientific training to defend clients accused of impaired driving. He completed the Axion 40-Hour DWI Blood Testing Course, an intensive program covering forensic toxicology, blood alcohol analysis, laboratory procedures, pharmacology, retrograde extrapolation, and the scientific principles underlying DWI blood testing. This training helps him evaluate forensic evidence, identify weaknesses in chemical testing, and challenge the prosecution's scientific conclusions when appropriate.

Brett earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University before receiving his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2015. Since being admitted to the State Bar of Texas, he has focused exclusively on criminal defense, representing clients charged with DWI, drug crimes, assault, theft, and other misdemeanor and felony offenses.

He carefully reviews police reports, body-camera footage, witness statements, laboratory records, and forensic evidence to develop defense strategies tailored to each client's case.
