Brett Peterson: Attorney with Law Office of Brett Peterson

Biography

Brett Peterson is a San Diego-based personal injury attorney who grew up in Northern California but fell in love with San Diego while pursuing higher education. He earned a B.A. in Quantitative Economics and Decision Science from UC San Diego in 1995 and a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1998. After graduation he spent the next decade at a leading plaintiff’s personal injury firm in San Diego and later held litigation positions at two well-known civil defense firms. Frustrated by insurance companies that too often mistreated injured people, he founded his own firm in 2008 to focus on car accidents and dog-bite cases. He now devotes his practice to protecting injured individuals and ensuring they are treated with dignity. Outside the office he enjoys fatherhood, exploring Balboa Park, hiking, participating in alumni activities, and fostering animals from a local shelter.
