Biography

Brett A. Smith has over five years of experience in the defense of individuals, property owners, and corporations in all forms. Brett is a personable, well-regarded litigator and advocate, who excels at developing and pursuing fact-first remedies for his clients.

Brett currently focuses his practice on premises liability and personal injury litigation, and all matters of insurance coverage. He is regularly engaged in the litigation of automotive disputes and routinely works with insurance clients advising regarding liability and risk transfer. Prior to joining London Fischer LLP, Brett worked defending class action lawsuits, law enforcement entities regarding use of force, and individual defamation claims.

Brett believes that the attorney-client partnership is the keystone to a successful litigator. Brett prides himself on his accessibility and creative approaches to developing evidence that may best articulate his clients’ position.

Brett has also worked as a professional baseball scout for both the Los Angeles Angels and Miami Marlins. He is a founding member of UC Irvine’s nationally-ranked baseball team.
