Brian Butler

Brian Butler has practiced civil litigation for eight years, since graduating cum laude from the University Cincinnati College of Law in 2007. He is a native of Cincinnati, where he graduated from St. Xavier High School. He studied history and political science at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He lives with his wife Susan and their dogs Louis and Smith in Mt. Lookout.

Mr. Butler has represented a wide variety of clients in commercial, employment, and other areas of civil litigation. He has significant experience representing employees in litigation involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and non-competition agreements. He also represented clients in litigation involving attorney malpractice, fraud, contractual disputes, wills and trusts, and complex financial disputes.

Mr. Butler is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, the Southern District of Ohio, the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has appeared in federal courts in other jurisdictions, including Kentucky.
