Biography

Brian is a Jacksonville native who has dedicated his career to fighting for the injured in his hometown. Guided by competence, commitment, and compassion, he has obtained results collectively totaling tens of millions of dollars for clients in wrongful death, brain injury, and premises liability matters.

He earned his B.A. in philosophy and German from Davidson College, studied at the University of Wurzburg, and traveled through the Balkans documenting postwar human stories. That storyteller’s eye helps him earn clients’ trust and powerfully present their cases to juries.

Brian began his career at Weitz & Luxenberg in New York, taking on multinational corporations in asbestos cases. After graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, he joined Levin Papantonio Rafferty, advocating for women and families harmed by Bayer’s birth control drugs Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella in federal multidistrict litigation. Back in Jacksonville, where he and his wife, Katherine, are raising their three children, Brian continues to go toe-to-toe with major insurance companies, big corporations, and healthcare systems.

Recognized among the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel and a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Brian brings proven results and credentials to every case.
