Biography

Brian Gabriel is an Associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Mastagni Holstedt, APC. He represents public sector employees in administrative and disciplinary investigations, hearings, critical incident investigations, and criminal proceedings.

Most recently, Brian served as Legal Counsel for the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP), which is the California Highway Patrol’s labor union, where he provided counsel to the Board of Directors and represented members in disciplinary hearings before the State Personnel Board and during critical incidents.

Brian is a 2013 graduate of Temple University and a 2017 graduate of Pepperdine Caruso School of Law where he served as the President of the Veterans’ Legal Society. While in law school, Brian interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and was selected to participate in the Honors Legal Program at the Pentagon with the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Prior to attending Temple, Brian served in the United States Marine Corps, obtaining the rank of Sergeant, and he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as, a year-long rotation with Marine Corps Forces Korea (MARFORK) in the Republic of Korea.
