Biography

Brian Lee was born in Morgan City, Louisiana on February 4, 1976, and lived there until moving to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1989. Brian is a proud graduate of Florida State University in 1997, and of Florida Coastal School of Law, where he graduated in December 2001 having served in various positions including board member and editor on FCSL’s Law Review. Multiple articles written by Brian were published by the FCSL Law Journal up to his graduation.

After being sworn in as an attorney of the Florida Bar, Brian handled multiple types of cases, primarily focusing on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, as well as litigation in consumer law. As of 2016, Brian has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar in civil trial practice, which distinguishes him from other attorneys as only board certified civil trial lawyers are allowed to identify themselves as specialists or experts in this area of law.

Brian became involved in the area of appellate law to protect the rights of his clients when their claims became involved in the higher appellate courts of the state of Florida.

Throughout his law career with his former firm Schuler & Lee, P.A., he quickly grew into both the principal appellate lawyer for all issues that would come up in that practice, as well as handling appellate consultation and appeals for other firms that needed appellate assistance. Brian has not only worked on appeals once they have been started in both state and federal court after litigation has been ended by trial, but also assisted trial attorneys before trial with reducing and minimizing the danger that could lead to a successful appeal by the opposing party. Brian has handled appeals in a wide variety of areas, and these cases have greatly contributed to the law in the state of Florida. Brian now brings that appellate experience to Morgan & Morgan to help the firm’s clients and attorneys throughout the state of Florida on all appellate issues.

Brian is dedicated to serving the Arlington community in Jacksonville. He has volunteered as a youth minister at Arlington United Methodist Church, and has served on the board of directors of the Jericho School for Children with Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities for 12 years. He has also been a proud member of the Rotary Club of East Arlington since 2011. He is also a member of the Florida Bar and the Jacksonville Justice Association.
