Brian P. Kenney: Attorney with Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen

Biography

Since joining Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen in 2004, Attorney Kenney has been dedicated to advocating for individuals diagnosed with mesothelioma and their families. His commitment to this work led to his promotion to partner in 2018.

For more than two decades, Attorney Kenney has personally handled hundreds of asbestos cases in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts Superior Courts. He represents former tradesmen, veterans, and others suffering from asbestos-related illnesses. He has also litigated secondary asbestos exposure cases on behalf of family members unknowingly exposed through a loved one’s work clothes. His efforts have secured millions of dollars in mesothelioma claim settlements, providing critical financial assistance to those affected.

In recognition of his professional achievements, Attorney Kenney has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” annually since 2011—an honor awarded to no more than 5% of attorneys in each state. Since 2023, he has also been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs.
