His practice encompasses complex business litigation in the areas of insurance coverage, professional malpractice, employment, real estate, securities, corporate governance and aviation.

Mr. Shear attended UCLA, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He studied law at Oxford University in England and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and received American Jurisprudence Awards for Evidence and Corporations.
