Brian W. Brown

Brian W. Brown focuses his practice on plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, handling cases ranging from serious trucking and motorcycle collisions to scooter accidents, premises liability, construction injuries, and wrongful death. Over the years, he has tried many jury trials throughout New Jersey and has appeared in all of the state’s courts, including federal court. Brian’s path to representing injured people began on the other side of the aisle—he previously defended major corporations and insurance carriers in personal injury matters. That experience taught him how insurers build their defenses, value claims, and approach settlement, and he now uses that knowledge to advocate aggressively for clients. Brian also spent time in the courtroom as the law clerk to Judge John I. Gizzo in Essex County’s Criminal Division, strengthening his understanding of procedure and trial practice. He is a graduate of the Morris Pashman Inn of Court, an organization known for developing litigation skills and promoting professionalism.
