Biography

After obtaining his law degree from LSU in 2001, Brian practiced law with the firm of Bergstedt & Mount until opening Arabie Law Firm in 2007 and Arabie Land & Title in 2012. In addition to the practice of law, Brian is an active member of the community assisting various boards, including the Coastal Plain Conservancy, the Southwest Louisiana Better Business Bureau, the Calcasieu Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Calcasieu Community Clinic.

Brian is a life-long resident of Southwest Louisiana growing up on family farm and timber property in Beauregard Parish and presently living in the Grand Lake community in rural Cameron Parish. Brian and his wife, Julie, have three children: Hannah, Isaac, and Luke. Brian has a special interest in land management, conservation, and restoration working with family on prairie and marshland in Cameron Parish as well as long-leaf pine forest in Beauregard Parish. Brian enjoys all manner of outdoor activities and spends much of his spare time pursuing Southwest Louisiana's abundant fish and game.
