Biography

As an attorney with Fox and Farmer since 2018, Brian Schott is proud to represent clients across Tennessee and Virginia. Brian has been licensed in Tennessee since 2010 and in Virginia since 2021. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Tennessee and completed his legal education at Marquette University, receiving his J.D. in 2009. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk, where he gained a deeper understanding of how courts evaluate facts, law, and effective advocacy. Brian is admitted to practice in all Tennessee and Virginia state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He also stays engaged professionally through the Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Bar Association, and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. When he is away from work, Brian enjoys traveling with his wife, Candy, following the Pirates and Steelers, supporting Tennessee sports, and spending time outdoors hiking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, and running.
