Bridget M. Kelly, Esq.

Open for Business
Bridget M. Kelly, Esq.: Attorney with Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP

Biography

Bridget joined the Private Client (Wills, Trusts, & Estates) Practice Group as a law clerk in January 2020. She worked with clients to gather information, prepared estate planning drafts for high-net-worth families and individuals, prepared estate administration and probate petitions, and participated in document executions. Over the COVID-19 pandemic, she joined our COVID-19 rapid response team and completed extensive research on virtual witnessing and notarization (for the execution of estate planning documents) as well as the SBA’s EIDL and PPP loan and grant programs. Since then, Bridget spent some time in the Real Estate department and is currently working in the Labor & Employment, Private Client, and Elder Law departments. Prior to joining Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, Bridget had work experience in expediting, real estate law, title insurance, and elder law.

In addition to her work in FRB’s Private Client, Elder Law, Labor & Employment, and Real Estate departments, Bridget is also focused on NYS EPTL Article 13A, privacy issues, digital assets, and their estate planning and administration implications.

Bridget attended Hofstra Law on a Legal Scholars Award. While at Hofstra, she wrote a note for Hofstra’s Labor and Employment Law Journal, audited a course to assist with background for her note, and selected most of her electives in the subjects of estate planning, tax, and real estate. She was chosen to participate in Hofstra’s Federal Income Tax Clinic, where she assisted clients in their disputes with the IRS, as well as Hofstra’s 17A Guardianship Practicum, where she assisted a family in obtaining a guardianship over their developmentally disabled adult child. As an undergraduate student, Bridget’s coursework included finance, accounting, and business law classes that complement her focus on FRB’s Private Client and Real Estate Practice Groups.
