Britt Burner, Esq. is Managing Partner at Burner Prudenti Law, a women-owned firm serving clients from New York City to the East End. The firm concentrates in elder law, estate planning, trusts and estates, and real estate. Since joining in March 2014, Britt has led the Manhattan office and focused her practice on elder law and estate planning. She was named 2026 “Lawyer of the Year” for Elder Law in New York City by Best Lawyers and was selected a 2025 Super Lawyer in Elder Law for the second consecutive year after six years as a Rising Star. Britt is immediate past Chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs section of the New York State Bar Association, formerly chaired the New York City Bar Association Committee on the Legal Problems of the Aging, and is active in the NYSBA Trusts and Estates section. A frequent CLE speaker, she is a Charter Member of the Katz Institute for Women’s Health Advisory Council and joined the Northwell Health Board of Advisors Steering Committee in 2025. Britt earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she was Notes & Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. She is admitted in New York and resides in Manhattan and Westhampton Beach.
