Brittany Barnett comes to the Germany Law Firm after 10 years of working in science. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO in Microbiology. She worked for CSU for 5 years in a lab that studied colon cancer before moving to the USDA-ARS to pursue her Master of Science degree in Horticulture at CSU as well. Her projects focused on the relationship of soil bacteria to plant cultivars. She finds that the attention to detail required in the scientific field is highly applicable to working in a law office. Working on projects that have a direct and useful impact on clients and the public is the most rewarding part of this job and every day she learns useful information relating to law and how it applies to daily life. A Colorado native, Brittany enjoys scenic hikes and cooking tasty food.
