Brittney A. Davis

Brittney Davis is an Associate Attorney at the Robert Harris Law Firm. She practices criminal defense, representing clients with a variety of legal problems from the most serious felonies to misdemeanors, driving offenses, and DUIs. Ms. Davis also practices in post-conviction and appellate work, taking on criminal appeals and claims such as ineffective assistance of trial counsel and illegal sentences.

Ms. Davis studied at the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Davis obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, with a Minor in Classical Studies. While studying at UF, she spent two summers of her undergraduate career working with a criminal defense attorney in Tallahassee, Florida. She worked with all types of cases and clients, and was actively involved in the preparation and trials for charges, including sexual battery and attempted second-degree murder.

Brittney then obtained her Juris Doctor from the Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. While studying at Ave Maria, Brittney actively participated in the Student Bar Association and was elected to serve as the Moot Court Board President in her final year. She competed in numerous appellate and mock trial competitions throughout her three years, defining her skills in both appellate advocacy and trial practice. In her final year at Ave Maria, she was named Top Oral Advocate in two different competitions. She spent two years working as a Teaching Assistant and tutor for the Research, Writing, and Advocacy Department at Ave Maria, working with first-year students to sharpen their research and writing skills. She graduated summa cum laude and was #1 in her graduating class.
