Brittney B Ankersen

A skilled litigator and strong advocate for her clients, Brittney focuses on product liability, insurance coverage and defense, transportation defense, and commercial litigation. She applies her strategic expertise to complex cases in areas spanning toxic tort, manufacturer and supplier liability, personal injury defense, bad faith, and indemnity litigation.

Brittney honed her skills at New Orleans defense firms, where she handled all aspects of civil matters, including serving as first and second chair in over 75 civil jury trials and managing litigation teams in strategy development. She has also acted as national coordinating counsel with a particular focus on federal jurisdiction strategies, further strengthening her leadership role in high-stakes litigation. With more than 12 years of experience, her accomplishments include securing dismissals, summary judgments, and favorable resolutions for her clients.

She is an active member of the Louisiana and Mississippi State Bar Associations, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Federal Bar Association, Defense Research Institute (DRI), and Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance. Brittney has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.
