Bruce Shapiro earned both his Bachelor's degree in 1984 and
his Master’s degree in 1986 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He went
on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Whittier College School of Law in 1990.
Since then, Mr. Shapiro has dedicated his career to family law, serving in
various judicial and legal roles, including as a Domestic Violence
Commissioner, URESA/Paternity Hearing Master, and Alternate Municipal Court
Judge. He has also held the position of Judicial Referee for Las Vegas Justice
Court Small Claims.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Shapiro has
contributed to the legal community by writing several articles on family law
and participating in numerous committees. His service includes roles on the
Nevada Children’s Justice Task Force, the Clark County Family Court Bench-Bar
Committee, and the State Bar of Nevada’s Child Support Review Committee. He has
also been involved with the State Bar of Nevada Southern Nevada Disciplinary
Board and served on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Nevada during
multiple terms. Mr. Shapiro’s extensive experience and commitment to the legal
profession have made him a respected figure in Nevada's legal community.
