Caleb T. Nigrin

Caleb works on matters involving large-scale tort claims and product liability issues, contributing to all stages of litigation. His experience includes supporting case strategy, analyzing legal issues, and assisting with the development of effective defenses tailored to each client’s needs.

His work includes:

•Defending a variety of clients, mass tort and product liability claims in multiple jurisdictions
•Supporting litigation strategy across state and federal courts
•Analyzing insurance coverage and risk-related issues
•Contributing to case development through motion practice, oral advocacy, complex research and client-focused solutions

Prior to joining Meagher + Geer, Caleb practiced at a Minneapolis metro area law firm where he handled insurance coverage and defense, personal injury, and construction litigation. That experience gives him a practical, defense-oriented perspective and an understanding of how litigation strategies impact clients beyond the courtroom.

Caleb earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he participated in the moot court program, served as a representative of Law Council, and was involved in the Litigation and Trial Advocacy Group. He also contributed to the student-led Theater of the Relatively Talentless (TORT), where he wrote and performed in law school parody musicals. During law school, he represented clients through the University of Minnesota’s Consumer Protection Clinic.

He received his B.A. in Philosophy and Sociology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating with distinction.

Outside of his legal practice, Caleb enjoys weightlifting, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with his cats.
