Biography

Caner holds the prosecution to its burden by filing suppression motions, arguing at hearings where the police violated your rights in making a case against you, representing clients at the grand jury if in the rare chance they should testify, selecting juries and trying cases and forcing the prosecution to meet its burden of proving their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Do not make the mistake of hiring a lawyer too late or not a trial lawyer who will expose all of the reasonable doubt that makes you not guilty of the charged crimes.

Caner's work in defending his clients has resulted in full dismissals of felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony drug sale cases.

Caner has defended clients in the Supreme Court of New York at trial on murder and gun possession charges. Caner knows how to pick the right jury for you and knows how to make sure all reasonable doubt is established.

Caner handles all aspects of a criminal accusation from surrendering on warrants, I-Cards and bench warrants to negotiating with the prosecution, motions, hearings, suppression of evidence illegally obtained and trial.

Caner previously worked with the criminal defense practice of the Legal Aid Society of New York while still in law school and continued to hone and sharpen his skills at trial practice and criminal defense.

Additionally, if you are a victim of an automobile accident, construction accident, hit and run, trucking accident, bicycle accident, slip or trip and fall, or a civil rights violation you need a trial lawyer to fight for you and get you the compensation you deserve. Caner Demirayak has been a trial attorney for nearly a decade and knows how to take a case to trial if the insurance companies or person responsible for your injury refuses to pay you what you deserve. A trial attorney is crucial to getting you the most money as the threat of a full trial with a jury of your peers is never off the table. You should never settle for less than what you are entitled to for your injuries.
