Biography

Carla C. Prosper practices primarily Immigration Law in the New York and New Jersey Metropolitan area.  She previously was cofounder and partner of Prosper and Rodriguez, LLC. She was formerly an associate at a high volume law firm in midtown Manhattan. Ms. Prosper has successfully represented aliens in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and in hearings before the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services. Ms. Prosper's practice consists of all aspects of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. Prosper and Rodriguez, LLC, also provides of counsel work to criminal defense attorneys who seek to counsel their clients on the immigration consequences of certain criminal convictions.   Ms. Prosper's undergraduate degree in International Business Management was earned at Villanova University and her J.D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo, School of Law. She is a member of the Bars of NJ and NY.  She is fluent in Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole. She is also a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association.
