Biography

Carlos Andres Morales is a Partner in the firm's Tampa office. He is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of general civil litigation, including liquor liability, premises liability, negligent security, and wrongful death, as well as nursing home and medical malpractice litigation.

Mr. Morales earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Florida in 2010. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, in Washington, D.C., in 2013. While in law school, he served as a senior member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and as a student attorney in GW’s Federal, Criminal and Appellate Clinic, representing indigent clients on direct appeal in serious felony cases.

Mr. Morales clerked for the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich of the Middle District of Florida while in law school. He interned with Senator Marco Rubio of Florida where he worked to develop new immigration legislation. He further served as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Immigration and Custom Enforcement preparing guidance on emerging constitutional and civil rights issues related to new technology. During law school, Mr. Morales spearheaded a very successful pro bono project to help indigent and low income individuals seal their D.C. criminal records, which to-date has served hundreds of applicants.
