Biography

Carly E. McKenny currently serves as an Associate with Helms Law Firm in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Carly graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science and a minor in Constitutional Studies. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma College of Law to later earn her Juris Doctorate Degree.

Carly was admitted to practice law in Oklahoma in 2023, where she finished in the top three percent of Multistate Bar Examination test takers across the nation. Her academic career has been focused on the desire to learn and the desire to achieve, which has carried over into her professional career. While at OU Law, Carly participated in a number of litigation competitions while also working in the OU Legal Clinic, representing clients from Cleveland and McClain counties who would otherwise not have access to legal counsel. Her experience working so closely with clients throughout law school shaped her ability to communicate well, hear the needs and goals of clients, and achieve those goals together while always pursuing the best outcome.

Carly’s primary focus is litigation and Family Law. Her passion for litigation and the desire to represent and help others is what led her to her career in practicing law.
