Biography

Carmen Maria Lechin is an Associate in the firm's Miami office. She practices litigation in the areas of intellectual property and business/commercial law.

Ms. Lechin earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a minor in Philosophy. During her undergraduate studies, she was inducted into the National Honor Society of Psychology, where she later served as Vice President.

Ms. Lechin then earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School. She competed on and later served as Head Coach for the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Appellate Moot Court Team. After her first year, she clerked for the Honorable James L. Dennis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Ms. Lechin also received Tulane's Pro Bono Service award for achieving an exceptional amount of pro bono hours during her studies.
