Carmine R. Villani

I am Carmine R. Villani, Founding Partner, at Villani & DeLuca, P.C..  I am a criminal trial attorney.  This didn't happen by chance, I went into the practice of law with the desire to become a criminal trial attorney.  I began as early as law school as a student prosecutor in the District Attorney's office in Dorchester Massachusetts.  While in Law School in Boston I was very fortunate and had the oppportunity to work as a research assistant for Harvard Professor and famous civil rights attorney Alan Dershowitz.  Early in my career I worked with some great trial lawyers developing my skills and was later appointed muncipal prosecutor which provided additional trial experience. I contnued developing my skills and in 1996 Vincent C. Deluca and I formed the firm of Villani & Deluca, P.C.  I concentrated on the trial work and at one point was trying a 2 month long federal civil fraud trial while simultaneously representing a victim's family in litigation stemming from a nationally recognized murder trial.  In 2000 we moved our offices from a small space in Wall Township to a larger space in what is now our main office in Point Pleasant Beach.  Over the years I was able to concentrate my practice on criminal defense which also includes a large number of DWI and DUI cases based upon our main office location in Point Pleasant Beach at the heart of the Jersey Shore.  I still handle a select number of serious personal injury matters. The Firm has grown to 8 attorneys with a professional support staff.  My team and I handle the firm's criminal defense, DWI and personal injury matters. My partner, Vincent C. Deluca, is one of only a few certified matrimonial lawyers in NJ and his team exclusively handles family law and divorce related matters.
