Biography

Carter Jennings, the owner and founder of Carter Jennings Law Firm in Oklahoma City, is a dedicated criminal defense attorney with a deep-rooted passion for criminal law. A lifelong Oklahoman, he grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 as a National Merit Scholar. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2008. For the next decade, Carter served as a criminal prosecutor across the state, practicing in Oklahoma County for seven years and also working in Garfield County and with the Multi-County Grand Jury at the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office. Over his career, he has tried more than 40 jury trials, including 14 murder trials.
