Biography

Cassandra grew up in South Florida before attending college at Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science & International Affairs. Cassandra then earned her Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law, where she was a member of DePaul’s Health Law Institute and a contributor to their journal. While attending school, Cassandra gained significant legal knowledge working as a paralegal and law clerk at several well-established law firms. Prior to joining GWC, Cassandra spent a considerable period of time practicing workers’ compensation and securing favorable results for her clients.

Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, Cassandra is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, where she serves as a Committee Chair for the Women in the Law section. Cassandra is also an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
