Catherine S. Lyster

Catherine Lyster handles diverse fields of law, including intellectual property, insurance, trusts and estates, and general business and commercial matters. As part of this representation, Ms. Lyster engages in motion practice during all stages of trial and appellate work, including legal strategy and preservation. She also engages in counseling and advising commercial clients and entrepreneurs regarding day-to-day business management, contractual disputes, bankruptcy matters and insurance coverage disputes. In addition, she assists with national insurance coverage by advising and representing domestic and international insurers on first-party property (Homeowner’s and Commercial), commercial general liability, construction defect, product liability, professional liability and professional errors and omission claims. Ms. Lyster has successfully litigated a wide variety of first-party and third-party insurance cases, including the interpretation of policy provisions and exclusions.
