Biography

Cathryn Howell is an Associate Attorney in the San Bernardino office of Borton Petrini, LLP. She is a Bay Area native who moved to Southern California several years ago. Cathryn obtained her B.A. from San Francisco State University and her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she graduated with honors. During her time in law school, she received multiple CALI Awards for academic achievement and a Witkin Award for appellate advocacy. Cathryn served as a board member for multiple student organizations and on her school’s Law Review. She also served multiple internships, including one with a federal district court judge and others with nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area geared towards criminal justice reform and housing assistance.

Prior to working with Borton Petrini, LLP, Cathryn worked with an estate planning and taxation firm in San Francisco, where she directly assisted clients on a wide variety of estate planning matters, probates, trust administrations, business entity formations and compliance, taxation, and real estate matters.

Outside of the office, Cathryn enjoys attending live music events, travelling, trying different cultural cuisines, and going on new adventures with family and friends.
