Chaitali Chanda

Before joining WSHB, Chaitali worked for an insurance defense firm specializing in medical malpractice, complex construction, property defects, New York Labor Law, employment, products, premises, commercial and professional liability, and motor vehicle accident claims. Chaitali also worked as an associate at a highly respected downtown Manhattan defense firm, where she defended medical professionals, hospitals, and nursing homes in New York and New Jersey against high-exposure liability medical negligence claims and general liability matters.

Chaitali attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and obtained her J.D. in 2021. While in law school, she participated in the Health Law Clinic and graduated with a certificate in Health Law. Chaitali also interned at the Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and served as an agency attorney to the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection. She is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey and a member of the New York State Bar Association and South Asian Bar Association of New York.
