Biography

Mr. Yuan’s main practice areas are foreign direct investment, corporate, M&A,international business transactions, regulatory and compliance.

Mr. Yuan has over 20 years’ experience in counseling clients on corporate formation (especially WOFE, joint venture) and restructure, corporate governance, employment matters, distribution, franchise, and regulatory and compliance issues. He regularly serves as a senior advisor to in-house counsel and as an outside general counsel for clients in various sectors with limited in-house resources. He has extensive experience in serving clients in insurance, healthcare and life science industries, advising them on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters.

Working Experience

Mr. Yuan worked as a legal consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, an in-house counsel for Manulife Financial (Asia Pacific), a senior associate at Gide Loyrette Nouel, and a partner at King & Wood. He is one of the founding partners of Broad & Bright.
