Chanisara (Palm) Bhuttacharoenlap is an associate attorney in WSHB’s New York City office. She represents clients in a range of civil litigation matters, with a focus on New York Labor Law, premises liability, and personal injury defense.Palm holds an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, where she graduated with First Class Honors. She is admitted to practice in New York and Thailand.Before pursuing her LL.M., Palm built a strong foundation in capital markets and financial law. She served as a regulator with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand and as in-house counsel for a financial institution, where she advised on regulatory compliance and financial transactions.Palm is a native Thai speaker and is fluent in English, with working proficiency in Chinese and Italian.Outside of work, Palm enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
