Chantel Batista Mullins

Chantel Batista Mullins is a passionate and strategic attorney at Morgan & Morgan, where she focuses her practice on personal injury matters, including premises liability, slip and fall, negligent security, and dog bite cases. Born with a passion for storytelling and advocacy, Chantel earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Miami, majoring in broadcast journalism with minors in business law and marketing. She began her professional career as a TV news reporter for WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tennessee, where she sharpened her investigative, communication, and writing skills—tools she would later carry into her legal career. She also gained valuable media experience through internships with Fox News and Univision.

Chantel went on to pursue her legal education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2022. While in law school, she was an active member of the Florida Trial Team, where she competed in mock trial competitions and honed her litigation and courtroom advocacy skills. Her time in law school solidified her interest in trial work and gave her the foundation to represent clients confidently and effectively.

Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Chantel worked as an insurance defense litigation associate in the premises liability sector. Her time on the defense side provided her with valuable insight into how insurers and defense attorneys approach injury cases—knowledge she now uses to benefit her clients. Fluent in Spanish, Chantel brings a client-first mindset, sharp communication, and a diverse professional background to every case she handles, fighting to ensure that injured individuals receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
