Biography

Charlene Lanez is a partner in WSHB's New York City office. She is known for navigating all aspects of complex civil litigation, including toxic tort, product liability, construction, employment and tort-based matters, but focuses her attention on New York Labor Law Litigation.

Charlene earned her undergraduate degree from Hunter College and her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, she served as the articles editor for the Asian American Bar Association of New York Law Review and took part in the Brooklyn Law Students for the Public Interest Courtroom Advocates Project. Her previous legal experience includes working for two national insurance carriers.

She is fluent in Tagalog and enjoys woodworking, knitting, baking, dancing, practicing yoga, and playing the ukulele in her free time.
