Charles Miller has dedicated more than 25 years to practicing criminal law. He began his career in private defense in 2004.

During his time as a Navy Lieutenant, Mr. Miller was responsible for prosecuting cases for the Navy and Marine Corps across the Southeastern United States, Caribbean, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He also worked at the Judge Advocate General's office, where he served as a Criminal Appellate Attorney and provided expertise on cases related to National Security Law. Additionally, he had the privilege of serving as a military protocol aide at the White House.

After completing his active duty, Mr. Miller joined the Queens County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. In this role, he handled a wide array of criminal law cases, gaining an in-depth understanding of the workings of the New York criminal justice system.

With a wealth of experience, Mr. Miller has appeared before both military and civilian judges and juries. He has effectively litigated both misdemeanor and felony cases. His extensive background in criminal law led to his appointment to the Assigned Counsel Plans for both New York and Nassau Counties. These panels consist of seasoned criminal law practitioners and ensure that constitutionally-mandated quality representation is provided to indigent defendants.
