Biography

Charles H. Best is dedicated to achieving fairness for all parties while remaining a steadfast advocate for his clients. His commitment to law began during his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, where he worked with North Mississippi Rural Legal Services to resolve garnishment and collections issues for low-income residents. This experience taught him that practicing law offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients' lives. During his time at Mississippi College School of Law, Charles developed interests in family law, wills, and estate planning, expanding his legal perspective and skills.

Working alongside experienced attorneys and learning from his time at North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, Charles values the peace of mind that legal resolution can bring to clients. He views law as a continuous learning journey, with each case presenting new challenges and insights, which allows him to grow and serve his clients more effectively at Maxey Wann. In his free time, Charles enjoys exploring nature with his dog Buck, who often joins him at the office. He also has a passion for blacksmithing and baking.
