Biography

Charles J. Willinger, Jr. (Chuck) is the founding partner of the firm. Working with his boyhood friend and partner, Tom Bucci, and Chuck’s wife and partner, Ann Marie, he has become one of the premier faces of commercial real estate transactions, business law, and commercial litigation and land use attorneys in Fairfield County. The reason for his success is simple. Chuck has an unerring ability to cut through red tape, color outside of the lines, and go that very important extra mile for his clients. He does not take no for an answer. He does not see problems; he sees challenges and seeks solutions to those challenges. There is no better advocate.

Chuck has been involved as counsel in too many regional developments to list. One of his outstanding qualities, however, is that each and every client, whether one listed on the New York Stock Exchange or a mom-and-pop local business, will receive equally attentive, respectful, and responsive representation from Chuck. It is his hallmark. He cares about his clients. His single motivation is to achieve his clients’ goals.

Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Chuck graduated from Fairfield University and the University of Miami School of Law, putting himself through both by working construction and ironwork jobs during the day and performing inhalation therapy on hospital patients at night. Chuck is admitted to practice before the Connecticut and Florida state courts and before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He also sits on the Panel of Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association, and is a member of the Greater Bridgeport, Connecticut, Florida, and American Bar Associations.

Chuck’s second loves after the law are to root for his Yankees, conquer the golf course, and read every biography of presidents and other leaders who share his drive for perfection.
