Biography

CHARLES M. FRAENKEL, Of Counsel, is a graduate of Purdue University, (B.S.), and Indiana University School of Law (J.D.). Chuck has made numerous presentations to insurance companies and groups on various subjects, including insurable interest, policy conditions, insurance industry immunity, mold, mortgagee claims and pre-trial discovery in first-party insurance litigation. He specializes in first and third-party liability coverage questions, including tenders of defense and duty to defend, marine and inland marine coverages (including jewelers block), shippers interest, builder's risk, cargo legal liability, hull coverage, difference in conditions policies, and general property matters. He has been an active participant in the Insurance Committee on Arson Prevention, the Chicago Bar Association Insurance Law Committee and is a contributing author to the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education's volume on Fire Insurance.
