Experience: Representative Matters: Acted for a large family business on the 4 billion sale of its European luxury retail group located across the UK and Europe to a major Thai conglomerate and Austrian real estate group.; Advised two global financial services firms, as joint lenders, on the real estate aspects of a 211.5m financing for the acquisition of 9 retail warehouses located across the UK and on their exit via CMBS shortly afterwards.; Advised the joint lenders on a c.330m facility secured on a portfolio comprising 41 prime logistics assets located across England, France, Germany, The Netherlands, and Poland.; Acted for a Saudi Arabian investor (as seller) on the sale of 3 Bunhill Row to a London based real estate investment firm by way of a purchase of the entire issued share capital of the propco.; Acted for two global financial services firms, as joint lenders, on the c295m acquisition financing of life sciences property assets located on the Cambridge Science Park.; Pro Bono Experience: Volunteering for Smart Start as a mentor to university applicants providing advice and support on the application process and on work experience schemes which aim to give young people facing socio-economic barriers access to high quality work experience in the world of business.; Providing advice to IntoUniversity on property management matters, including assistance on negotiating new leases.; The above representations were handled by Ms. Butler prior to her joining Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
