Attorney Chase Tajima, managing partner of Trépanier Tajima

investigations, pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions,
negotiations, settlements, trials, appeals, and arbitration proceedings. He has
secured numerous favorable resolutions for clients across California, Hawaii,
and beyond.
Mr. Tajima’s notable achievements include dismissing a
corporate control lawsuit against a CEO, obtaining multi-million-dollar
arbitration awards, securing injunctive relief in high-stakes corporate
disputes, and achieving significant settlements in eminent domain and
construction defect cases. He also boasts a U.S. Tax Court trial victory,
resolving IRS assessments and multimillion-dollar tax disputes for prominent
clients.
Before co-founding Trépanier Tajima LLP, Mr. Tajima was an
associate at Crockett & Associates in Los Angeles, focusing on complex
civil litigation, and at Chun Kerr LLP in Honolulu, practicing real estate
transactions, tax law, and business organizations. He co-authored the Limited
Liability Company Manual for the Hawaii State Bar Association and served as
vice chair of its tax section.
Mr. Tajima earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School with First
Honors and completed his LL.M. in taxation at Georgetown University Law Center
with distinction. Before law school, he worked in international business
consulting and served as a Capitol Hill intern.
