Biography

Christy graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1991 with a B.S. in Philosophy. She attended the Walter F. Georgia School of Law at Mercer University and graduated in 1996. For the first several years of her practice, Christy gained a wide variety of experience in residential real estate, corporate and business law, insurance defense litigation, wills and trusts, workers compensation and bankruptcy. She served as Staff Attorney for the Chapter 13 Trustee for 11 years before deciding to focus on family law and residential real estate. Christy is bar licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. Christy is a member of the Savannah Board of Realtors, the Young Council of Realtors, and the Savannah Bar Association.

Christy has been an active member of the Junior League of Savannah, the Historic Savannah Foundation, the Savannah Tree Foundation, and the Hitchcock Woods Foundation. Christy attends Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church and enjoys foxhunting and spending time with her husband and three young children.
