Christopher D. Armstrong: Attorney with Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP

Biography

Christopher D. Armstrong, a distinguished attorney, laid the foundation for his career with a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University, graduating magna cum laude. His early professional experiences included a significant role as a group associate and intern at a Fortune 500 wealth management company. During this time, he contributed to the financial planning of numerous workers, employees, and soon-to-be retirees, aiding them in realizing their retirement goals.

Furthering his education, Mr. Armstrong earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. His commitment to honing litigation skills led him to participate in the Integrated Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP) during law school. This program equipped him with valuable experience in public speaking, evidentiary objections, deposition strategies, and negotiation tactics. Mr. Armstrong's focus on workers' rights became evident as he immersed himself in employment law courses.

Early in his legal journey, Mr. Armstrong joined Pond Lehocky as a law clerk, undertaking responsibilities such as crafting hearing briefs and conducting legal research. Following his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, he transitioned to the role of associate at Pond Lehocky in October 2018. In his initial year, Mr. Armstrong concentrated on Social Security disability cases, passionately representing disabled individuals. Subsequently, his focus shifted to workers' compensation litigation, where he actively participated in hearings, mediations, and depositions on behalf of injured workers.

Currently, Mr. Armstrong is a pivotal member of the firm's Resolution Department Chair, dedicating his efforts to workers' compensation settlements and negotiations. Regularly attending mediations, settlement hearings, and leveraging his negotiation skills, he takes pride in contributing to securing thousands of settlements for injured workers.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Mr. Armstrong resides in Marlton, New Jersey, with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Isla. A connoisseur of the Philadelphia restaurant scene, he cherishes moments spent outdoors with his family. Weekends often find him paddle boarding and unwinding at his family's lake house, embracing a balance between professional excellence and a fulfilling personal life.
