Biography

Chris Barber is a partner at Williams Barber & Morel LTD. and a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice group. Mr. Barber focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, with extensive experience in financial markets, bankruptcy and reinsurance matters. He has litigated cases throughout the United States and abroad, including London and Bermuda. Mr. Barber has tried more than 140 cases - trials, arbitrations and regulatory enforcement proceedings - to verdict or award. Chris is also a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society, and a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute.

Mr. Barber has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Illinois Leading Lawyers for commercial litigation and was listed in Illinois Super Lawyers for business and securities litigation. He is featured in Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation.
