Biography

Christopher J. Picard's practice for the last 20 years has centered on handling creditor's rights issues and real estate litigation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts inclusive of handling appellate matters. Chris will continue practicing in these areas and is expanding his practice to include commercial litigation. His clients have included national banks and servicers along with local lenders. Recently, Chris obtained two appellate decisions in favor of lenders; one involving the impact of divorce proceedings on a residential mortgage foreclosure and the other concerning to challenge the legal sufficiency of a special defense by way of summary judgment.
