Since joining the firm in 2013, Chris has been a creative and dedicated advocate for his clients. He has successfully handled cases arising out of events as diverse as car crashes (including the leading local case on Uber’s and Lyft’s responsibility when their drivers are at fault), defectively unsafe product design, Metro bus and subway crashes, medical malpractice, fires and gas explosions at apartment buildings, and a bank opening fraudulent accounts in its customers’ names. Chris has built a strong track record of outstanding results for his clients, including numerous seven- and eight-figure verdicts and settlements.

Before joining RZL, Chris graduated from Duke University, then earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, he was an Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He also participated in the Vanderbilt Civil Practice Clinic. There, he helped children with special needs obtain access to the free and appropriate public education they are guaranteed by the Individuals with Disabilities Act. In addition, Chris completed an externship for a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and worked as a clerk for a California personal injury law firm.
